HS-500/500G

a catalyst for the shifting of CO to CO2 in the high temperature shift units of ammonia, hydrogen, and methanol plants. HS-500 has excellent post reduction strength and is highly resistant to breakage due to steam and water condensation problems that can occur in such reactors. HS-500 is available in the larger “G” (9×6 mm) sizes for use in the top portion of the HTS bed to provide additional pressure drop formation protection from thermal shock breakage due to condensation and carryover issues

a Low Temperature & Low Methanol type based LTS catalyst to be used in applications where the amount of methanol by-product formation needs to be minimized.
