Aluminium Powders

Our high quality aluminium powders are produced in modern manufacturing plants via air and nitrogen atomisation.

We cover a wide range of powders for various industrial applications, such as base for pigments or pyrotechnic aluminium dust. Dry aluminium powder is produced by atomizing liquid aluminium with heated nitrogen or by air, then separated into various particle -sized fractions using vibration screens and rotary centrifugal classifiers. Following ball milling, dry powders can be converted to flaky powders with a greater flat surface area. Various organic additives may be added to control properties such as hydrophilic property, as well as for the paste production.

Autocalved Aerated Concrete (AAC, Gasbeton)

AAC is a lightweight concrete used in the construction industry as structural building material providing excellent insulation, and fire/mold resistance property as well as easy handling nature. AAC products may come in forms of blocks and panels for wall, floor, and roof. Its physical property differs from regular concrete by its porous nature created by hydrogen gas evolution during the production process (as a result of aluminium powder reacting with other casting mix components such as calcium hydroxide). This pours nature determines the quality of AAC blocks, therefore hydrogen gas evolution curve is one of key elements in selecting the required grade by the customer. We offer to our customer three different types of aluminum powder based products for AAC production.

Solar Paste (Metallization paste for solar cells)

A solar cell is a device designed to produce electricity from light through photovoltaic effect, in which light energy from the Sun is captured and converted into electricity. We offer spherical aluminum powder ASP grade for the production of electroconductive paste, which is to be applied for the metallization of such solar cells.

Our ASP aluminum powders are produced by atomizing liquid aluminum in nitrogen environment having spherical particle shape and designed to fulfill specific needs for the metallization process, namely excellent electric conductive property and less bowing of the wafer after paste application. For the solar paste production we offer following three grades of spherical powders:

  •  ASP3 D50 3 microns
  •  ASP4 D50 4 microns
  •  ASP5 D50 5 microns
  •  ASP6 D50 6 microns
